Pizza Hut Park – Frisco, TX

Pizza Hut Park is the home to MLS Soccer team FC Dallas. Opened on August 6th 2005, PHP is a 145-acre multipurpose sports and entertainment facility located in Frisco, TX.

Pizza Hut Park was the first ‘Soccer Specific’ stadium to be built in the United States, and still to this day is one of the top soccer stadiums in the country. During the MLS Season (March – October) thousands of FC Dallas fans walk through the gates of this historic ground. But during the off-season this stadium does not lay dormant, Pizza Hut Park hosts many other sporting events and concerts and is the annual location of Edge Fest. The biggest music festival in north texas.

Also located in the Pizza Hut Park complex is the Texans Credit Union Walk of Fame, situated just North of the main stadium and runs directly through the youth soccer fields. The walk of fame was built to recognize significant contributions to soccer in Texas. Some of the founding people recognized in the Texans Credit Union Walk of Fame are: Gordon Jago, Carla Overbeck, Bill Kinder, Kyle Rote Jr, Tatu and Lama Hunt. More members of the soccer community get recognized every year such as Kenny Cooper Sr, Schellas Hyndman, Bobby Moffatt and Ron Newman.
